Lucifer´s friend, German Hard Rock giants (famous 7' Ride The Sky) reformed in 2015 with new material and still touring in 2017 and soon in 2018 saw the day of light in 1970 under band name ASTERIX. They started with two lead singers with equal rights John Lawton and Tony Cavanna, both with a certain 'Robert Plant' - gen, a.k.a. high explosive vocal style. In early 1970 German Hard Rock and psychedelic Hard Rock were waiting for a protagonist. Asterix invented the German Psychedelic Hard Rock and after recording the album with the two vocalists they changed their name to Lucifer´s friend after vocalist T. Cavanna left the band to start a new career as a gospel singer (!). Asterix has not only superb vocalists but also a very explosive and aggressive lead guitar player, Peter Hesslein, and a truly solid rhythm group with bassist Dieter Horns and drummer Addi Rietenbach.
