'Gusano mecanico' has become a coveted collector's item, highly valued by music lovers worldwide. It has been included in 5001 Record Collector Dreams by Hans Pokora, receiving the highest rarity rating and hailed as a musical masterpiece. It was released in 1974 by the legendary Bolivian rock band Climax and was a big leap from their early recordings, where they paid tribute to their musical heroes. It became a landmark of prog rock in Bolivia and one of the few conceptual albums produced in the country. 'Gusano mecanico' explores themes such as the loss of personal essence and the vindication of indigenous peoples.
