Finally Sireena Records reissues 'Quasar' for the first time on CD, responding to the request of many fans of MYTHOS. The second SKY record 'Grand Prix' will be published later this year for the first time on CD.
A short review. In 1969 MYTHOS-mastermind Stephan Kaske founded with two school friends the rock trio MYTHOS in Berlin, which in the beginning is oriented at the so-called Berlin School Bands like Tangerine Dream and Agitation Free. Analog synthesizers combined with flute, drums and guitar was exciting and new at that time - the Krautrock was born, and MYTHOS were among the founders. No wonder that the cult label OHR discovered the band. In 1971, the self-titled debut albumhas been published, followed by the second album 'Dreamlab', from 1975. At that time MYTHOS was on the road and played every club from north to south of Germany, nevertheless Stephan Kaske still found time to compose music for numerous movies and television films .
